Abuse Policy

Abuse and Abuse Handling Policy**  

At Optixis Ltd, we maintain a strict policy regarding abuse and the handling of abuse reports in line with our Terms of Service. We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for our users and do not tolerate any form of abuse within our services. If abuse is reported, we follow a clear process to address the issue effectively. Please send any abuse reports to the following email: abuse@optixis.com.

 

 

1.0 Abuse Handling Procedure  

Upon receiving an abuse report, we first verify its authenticity and check if the issue pertains to our services. If the abuse is not related to our services, we inform the sender accordingly. However, if the report involves our services, we immediately forward the details to the concerned customer and grant them 48 hours to take corrective action. The sender will also be notified about the actions being taken.

 

If the customer requires more time to resolve the issue, we inquire about the steps they are taking and assess the situation. If the proposed actions seem appropriate, we extend the deadline. Otherwise, we may suspend the service. If there is no response within 48 hours, the reported service will be suspended, and the sender will be notified. If the user wishes to restore the service, they must take appropriate steps to resolve the issue, after which the service can be unsuspended.

 

Our abuse handling policy applies to all services provided by Optixis Ltd, including Domain Registration, Shared & VPS Hosting, Dedicated Servers, Business Mail, and more.

 

 

 2.0 Suspension & Termination Guidelines

 

2.1 Web Hosting Service Suspension and Termination  

If a user fails to pay their bill by the due date, their service will be automatically suspended. Customers are allowed 27 days to settle their payment, after which the service will be reinstated immediately. However, if the bill remains unpaid after this period, the account will be permanently terminated, along with all its data. Once terminated, the account cannot be reactivated, and we do not guarantee data backup. For those who wish to restore terminated services (if data is available), a $50 restoration fee applies within 90 days.

 

2.2 Hosting Abuse Suspension  

The following actions will lead to immediate suspension of a user’s account:

– Sending bulk emails via the website, webmail, or scripts.

– Excessive usage of server resources beyond the service plan.

– Engaging in activities on the website that violate international or local ICT laws, which may also result in permanent termination.

– Violating the service’s fair usage policy.

 

2.3 Hosting Abuse Termination  

The following behaviors will result in immediate termination of a user’s account:

– Hosting phishing content, illegal drugs, pornography, or prohibited materials.

– Engaging in activities that breach international law or local ICT regulations, which may also trigger temporary suspension for legal investigation.

– Using our service to spread hate, create conflicts, or cause harm between nations, religions, or communities.

– Involvement in payment fraud, scams, or illegal activities such as money laundering or cryptocurrency-related offenses (especially in restricted countries like Bangladesh).

  

Any violation will lead to permanent termination without prior warning, and no data backups will be provided.

 

 

3.0 DMCA Notice  

Optixis Ltd adheres to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respects the intellectual property rights of content creators. We review each valid DMCA notice thoroughly. If the reported content is hosted with us, we will attempt to contact the website owner to request content removal. Repeated instances of copyright violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

 

Before submitting a DMCA notice, please confirm that the content in question is hosted with Optixis Ltd. Ensure that you are the legal copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf, and provide valid proof of ownership. If a misrepresented or false claim is made, the complainant may be held responsible for any damages or harm caused. We reserve the right to challenge the misuse of the DMCA process and disclaim responsibility for any user-generated content hosted on our platform.
